Our SPU race village is situated near Mosu on the southeast side of the salt pans. While the majority of the route is accessible by paved road, the final 10 kilometers require a car with some ground clearance, although a 4x4 is not strictly necessary.
We understand the importance of safe parking and provide secure parking facilities. Additionally, if you require transportation assistance, we offer a shuttle service.

The costs for two persons/2nights are BWP 1780.00 (about 125 Euro / 135 Dollar) That includes the tent, two beds with bedding, solar light and two camp chairs.
Cost per guest (all meals and access to camp facilities) BWP500.00.
Which towns to fly to: Gaborone (7 hour drive to race camp) or Maun (5h30m drive to base camp).
A return shuttle from Maun to the race village is BWP 1,360 per person. We are working on the price of a Gaborone shuttle.
No, but SpotX and Garmin InReach satellite communicators are available to rent in many countries including South Africa. A quick Google search will show if they are available in your country.
